11311073934_18fc1d16983844503.jpgFor firsts, all the bands in this list aren’t in any particular order. Hopefully you will find some interesting songs or even favorites!

1.Neon Trees – The Neon Trees are a rock band from Provo, Utah who are somewhat known in the U.S.A. In the band, there is 5 members. Tyler Glenn, the vocalist and the keyboardist. Next is Chris Allen, who focuses on playing the guitar. After is Branden Campbell, who plays the brass guitar and sings some vocals. Then is Elaine Bradley, the awesome drummer and is part vocalist as well. Lastly is David Charles, who plays in the band as touring keyboardist and guitarist. In 2008, the Neon trees were chosen as the openers for several of The Killers’ North America tour date. Soon after in 2010, Mercury Records signed Neon Trees for a major record label, their new album was called ”Habits.” Now, one of their hit singles,” Animal” has slowly climbed its way to being #13 on ‘Billboard Hot 100′ and #1 on the ‘Alternative Rock Chart’. If you are interested in the Neon Trees, check out my three favorite songs by them, ”Animal” & ”1983” and ”In The Next Room.”
2.My Chemical Romance – My Chemical Romance or also known as MCR is also a rock band, first created in 2001. In the band, there is Gerard Way, the talented lead singer. Next are the guitarists Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Lastly bassist player, Mikey Way. In 2002, they signed up with Eyeball Records and made their first album, ”Brought You My Bullets, You Bought Me Your Love.” In 2004, they signed with Reprise Records and released their major debut album ”Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.” Later in 2006, their infamous album ”The Black Parade,”  came out, which was a new favorite with the critics. This year, in November 2010, they released ”Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys.” My Chemical Romance is a great band who really show emotion in their music, and really need to be more known and noticed in society today. One of my most favorite songs by them is ”I’m Not Okay.” That song really is unforgettable and is a great way to help you feel ”understood.”
3.Metro Station – Metro Station is a really cool band who has a knack for catchy music. Metro Station is an American pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. They were finally ”known” when they hit the Billboard Top 10 with their hit single ”Shake It.” Sadly though, they officially ‘broke up” in March 2010, but their great music still lives on. It started when in 2006,  Mason Musso (Mitchel Musso’s brother) and Trace Cyrus (Miley Cyrus’s brother) decided to form a band together. Later on, they got the attention of Blake Healy, who was to be the keyboardist, synthesis, and bassist player for the band. The guy who promoted the band officially was a intern named Jason Aron who worked for Colombia Records. When he recognized the band, not only they were soon-to-be rock stars but they also hit many of the famous billboards today. After their hit ”Shake It,” their album in 2008 hit #43 in Billboard 200; #1 in Top Electronic Albums; and lastly in #2 in Hotseekers. In March 2010 though, the band was going through some disputes between Musso and Cyrus. In the end, both artists decided to go solo and now are just keeping Metro Station in the back burner until they figure they can record together again. One of my favorite songs by them is definitely ‘Shake It’ and ‘Seventeen Forever’
4. We The Kings – One of the most amazing underground bands I’ve ever heard of, We The Kings really take any party to the extreme. A power pop band from 2003, ‘WTK’ is currently assigned to S-Curve Records. In this band, there is Travis Clark, who plays the lead vocals, guitars and plays the piano in the band. Hunter Thomson, is the lead in guitar and always backs up Travis with the vocals. Andrew Thomson specializes in the bass guitar, making each and every note in their songs more dramatic. Lastly is Danny Duncan, who keeps the beat going with his talent for drums.Voted the best pop punk artists in the Top Rock Awards, We The Kings toured with Forever The Sickest Kids, The Cab, and lastly NeverShoutNever!. In 2010, their latest break was when Coca Cola wanted them to perform at their stadium, and boy did they rock the house! Some leaks from Twitter conclude that soon they will be coming out with a new album in 2011.One of my most favorite songs my them is ‘Check Yes Juliet.’ Running on pure inspiration I really advise everyone to listen to the band. Be sure to check out their new album!
5. The Killers – Are we humans or are we dancers? Probably my new favorite band, I can tell you as soon as The Killers become famous, they will probably be hitting the billboards song after song. An American Rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, The Killers really stand out, their music is catchy yet it makes perfect sense, all thanks to Brandon Flowers, the bands lead vocalist and keyboardist. Besides Brandon, in the band there is Dave Keuning who is the leader in guitar and sings the back-up vocals.Next, Mark Stoermer who specializes in the bass guitar, and occasionally plays the rhythm guitar. Lastly is Ronnie Vannucci Jr., who brings the house down with his awesome beats, he specializes in the drums and percussion instruments. To be truthful, you really can’t explain this band in words. All I can say is that they have really good lyrics going on and a honest intention. The one song that captured my heart alone was ‘Humans.’ I could go on all day about how epic these guys would be if everyone knew about them, but find out for yourselves and don’t forget to tell me about them!
I hope you enjoyed my article and I hope you have some bands you look forward to listening to! Definitely be sure to leave a comment about future topics you would want me to write about!
